Yes there is, we normally meet once a year however this past year we did not meet since CODI was in Tampa. I am trying to get enough people together for an Advanced Recall and ACQ Recall sometime this fall. Are you interested? Should we plan something for Nov/DEc? this year? If so, anyone interested in hosting a FL CODI? We need a host site. To host a FLCODI meeting we need a room which would hold about 150 - 200 people and arrange for a box lunch to be brought in. Each attendee pays for there own lunch which is usually around $7. Collect the lunch money and pay the deli. epixtech usually sends a couple of staff members and you would arrange for those members and what they will be covering. Also, provide a breakfast and/or afternoon snack. epixtech may provide one of these and sometimes you can get a vendor that wants to come and make a presentation pay for the other snack. The other component is an agenda for the meeting. We can count on epixtech but it is nice to hear from our peers on what they are doing in their library. Some agenda items to consider: Moving to Sunrizon Sunrizon demos URSA/ILL software iPac for Dynix Telecirc II What's new at your library? Any other suggestions? Would someone like to offer a location and help set this up?
