Below is the preliminary information for the annual Florida CODI/HUG meeting. I wanted to get it out as soon as possible so you can make your plans. If you have anything to add please contact me. Later I will send out the time table for the programs. For now, plan on the programs starting at 9:30 am and going to 3:30pm. Please register by May 23. We will need a head count for lunch by then. Plan on attending now as it will be a very informative day. Preliminary Program: Dynix update - Scott McCausland and ?? "Setting up MARC maps, indexes, and searching in iPac for rookies"? Brad Bates - Polk county Library Cooperative "Polishing up your iPAC" for non-techies. Give the basics of editing a style sheet, how to find which style sheet is the one you need to edit, and explain the code that is used to add icons to iPAC (and how it can be modified to use collection codes). Colleen Medling - Hillsborough County Library Cooperative "RPA how we use RPA, the limitations and is there something better than RPA?" Want to know more about customer support, information portals, new hardware, upgrades, hot fixes, contracts etc. now is the time to get the answers. Jack will certainly entertain questions on the 30th but if you have something on your mind (or your director does) that might take some thought or research please send the question to me (stokesl@tblc.org) by May 9, I will coordinate any similar questions to get the most from Jack’s time.
