Please excuse the cross posting.

Below is the preliminary information for the annual Florida CODI/HUG
meeting.  I wanted to get it out as soon as possible so you can make your
plans.  If you have anything to add please contact me.  Later I will send
out the time table for the programs.  For now, plan on the programs starting
at 9:30 am and going to 3:30pm.  Please register by May 23.  We will need a
head count for lunch by then.

Plan on attending now as it will be a very informative day.

Preliminary Program:

Dynix update - Scott McCausland and ??

"Setting up MARC maps, indexes, and searching in iPac for rookies"?  Brad
Bates - Polk county Library Cooperative

"Polishing up your iPAC" for non-techies.  Give the basics of editing a
style sheet, how to find which style sheet is the one you need to edit, and
explain the code that is used to add icons to iPAC (and how it can be
modified to use collection codes).  Colleen Medling - Hillsborough County
Library Cooperative

"RPA  how we use RPA, the limitations and is there something better than
RPA?"  Jason Biggers - Hillsborough County Library Cooperative and Lauren
Stokes, Tampa Bay Library Consortium

"Dynix to Horizon - Manatee's migration experience." - Debra Kraner -
Manatee County Public Library

Heading South on I 75

Exit interstate at #136 – SR 884 (Colonial Blvd)
Bearing right, merge onto Colonial Blvd (heading west)
Staying on Colonial, drive approx. 8 miles until you reach a toll plaza
note - toll is $1 for cars
Road is now Veterans Memorial Parkway (heading west)
Staying on Veterans Memorial Parkway, drive approx. 5 miles to the traffic
light at Skyline Blvd.
Turn left (heading south)
Stay on Skyline until you reach the 4-way stop at Mohawk
Turn right (heading west)
Take the first right onto SW 39th Terrace
Library is the large burnt orange and tan building

Heading North on I 75

Exit interstate at #131 – Daniels Road
Bear left off the exit ramp, then turn left at the stoplight onto Daniels
Road (heading west)
Staying on Daniels, drive approx. 7 miles until you reach Summerlin Road
Note - when you passed over US 41, the road changed to Cypress Lake
Turn right (heading north)
Stay on Summerlin Road until you reach College Parkway
Turn left (heading west)
