[iBorrow] Running Alleycat and iBorrow

Beginning on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 we will begin migrating Alleycat
participants to iBorrow.  On the 19th, the first libraries will migrate.
These are:
*	the SunLine libraries 
*	Tampa-Hillsborough County 
*	Lee County
*	Pinellas Park Public Library
*	the Polk County Library Cooperative libraries

Until further notice we will run Alleycat and iBorrow simultaneously.
The following procedure describes how to manage interlibrary loans while
both systems are running.

When your library migrates to iBorrow you can receive lending requests
from both Alleycat and iBorrow libraries.  This is because we will leave
the libraries who have migrated to iBorrow in Alleycat as potential
lenders.  The only exceptions to this are SunLine, Tampa-Hillsborough
and Polk.  These libraries will be removed from Alleycat on July 19th.
Their lending requests will only be in iBorrow.

When your library migrates to iBorrow your borrowing will all be handled
in iBorrow from your migration date forward.  Remember that all requests
begun in Alleycat must be processed to Complete in Alleycat.  The key to
identifying a request that belongs to Alleycat is the long request
number.  iBorrow requests have request numbers beginning in the 3000's.
