Now that I'm back from Internet Librarian - I'm ready to start working on
this project again. The e-learning track at IL 2003 had some sessions on
"learning objects" and "e-learning tools" that fit neatly in with what we're
going to do.

I had several people indicate that they couldn't be a tutorial developer,
but they'd be willing to test drive the tutorials.

If you ARE interested in being part of the actual development team (using
the software to build tutorials) we need to meet again in December/January.
Let me know that you are interested by emailing me back. From checking my
past emails, right now I have Tracey Reed and myself confirmed.

Hi all -

TBLC has received LSTA funding to begin work on developing some online
tutorials for use by the public. I have funds to purchase some software
licenses for tutorial development.  Now I need a group to serve as the
tutorial development committee - to bring this project to life.

This is an idea that the TBLC Training SIG was talking about earlier in
2002-2003.  Many members of the Information Literacy SIG have already been
developing online tutorials.

The TBLC Training Special Interest Group is having a meeting at TBLC
Headquarters and you're invited. If you've received this email, but it
should have gone to someone more involved in training, let me know.
(Information Literacy SIG members -if you can't come -  I can share
information with you when we meet on Friday the 26th.)
