[ipac] change Fb/Ib SYSDBA login?

Howdy HIP folks,
Have any of you changed your Firebird/Interbase database
administrator login (SYSDBA) from the default?

I know my system will be as secure as it can be in the DMZ, protected
by rules and passwords. But it bothers me that a Google of "SYSDBA"
and the default password (you all know what that is) finds 66,200 results.

I tried to change my Firebird DBA password with
/opt/firebird/bin/changeDBAPassword.sh (on my Linux box), and ran
into a bit of a snag, I think. Firebird has to be up to do change
your password, but when you try to stop/restart Firebird after doing
this, it tries to use the password that you previously set instead of
the new one. Could that be right, or was I somehow making things
harder than they should be?

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Natasha
