Hello
 
We do add dummy holdings but we do this effortlessly when we load the
records. I have the import profile set up to automatically add the
copies with a defined status, location and collection  of Online. See
this example

I keep a file of the dates I load electronic files so that I can easily
use IGE to delete the copies if necessary at a later occasion.

Hi Everyone, 

We are about to start cataloguing our Electronic Resources at Dunedin
Public Libraries (NZ), to make them available through HiP.

On the search summary screen we show availability, which works well for
books.  However when we add on an Electronic Resource (and don't add a
holding), it shows no holdings available.  See the example below:

What do other libraries do?  We would like to avoid adding dummy
holdings on.  Is there a way to make HiP show "Electronic Resource" or
similar under availability?  We are a Dynix 191 library.
