Then it is definitely a stylesheet edit.
The edits mainly consist of commenting out the code dealing with
displaying the subject field. You can then add you own bib fields (e.g.
publication info) further up the record and add your own subject field
(as per Richard's instructions) below that. This is what we have done.
If you do this the main difference you will see is that the default
subject display is to list the subjects with a bullet. If you re-add the
subjects using a DICT then they display as they do in our HiP - just
another hyperlinked field. Depends if this is a concern for you or not.
We actually didn't like the bulleted display anyway, so we didn't mind
:-)

Hi Nita,

fields
of the bibliographic record are hard coded.
I am assuming this is the screen you are looking to update?

Thanks Richard. I should have asked this question too. How do I place it
on the record right below the title. It seems like I cannot move
anything above the subject.
Thanks.

Nita,
It really depends on how your records are mapped. If you don't like the
way they're mapped, it can always be extracted directly from the Marc
records, but that leaves out any non-Marc records you may have.
If your 260 tags are mapped with the place in a separate field from the
Publisher, let's say PUBPLACE is in field 25 and PUBLISHER is in 26,
then you could create a dictionary item like this:
1 FIELD NAME 1/ PUBPLACE AND
2/ PUBLISHER
2 FIELD NUMBER 25
3 JUSTIFICATION L
4 DISPLAY LENGTH 32
5 CONVERSION 1/
6 CORRELATIVE 1/ A;25:' ':26
### END OF RECORD ###
That will produce Recall results like this:
LIST BIB L-PLACE.AND.PUBLISHER 12:50:20pm 11 Jan 2007 PAGE 1
BIB............ PUBPLACE AND....................
PUBLISHER.......................
199978 New York : Marshall Cavendish,
399956 San Diego : Harcourt Brace & Co.
,
599934 New York : Silhouete,
399957 New York : Hyperion,
499946 New York : Checkmark Books,
599935 New York : Onyx,
499947 Boca Raton, Fla. : CRC Press,
599936 Toronto ; New York : Harlequin B
ooks,
99992 New York : Putnam,
199981 New York : Marshall Cavendish,
499948 Boston, MA : Element,
599937 New York : Silhouette Books,
499949 Westport, Conn. : Greenwood Pres
s,
399960 New York, N.Y. : Delacorte Press
,
Then you would add L-PLACE.AND.PUBLISHER to your FullBib display in iPAC
as a dictionary item to be used for display. It's been too long since
I've had my hands on the iPac Admin tool to accurately remember the
exact steps, but you're probably expert at that part anyway.
Happy Recalling!
