I have had the problem with lists disappearing from "My List."  It
turns out that there is a setting in HIP Admin under "My List Borrower
Types" that was deleting the lists after 90 days.    The HIP Manual
(p. 3-120)  does cover this but don't set the time period to blank
like it suggests.  Instead of never expiring, setting it to blank
expires it quicker.  If this duration field looks like it's causing
the problem, I'd contact SirsiDynix and see if they would update all
your existing borrowers "My List" to expire in 2045 or some other far
off date :)  Also, change the duration setting in HIP to a far off
date.  Since we've done this, I haven't had any further complaints
about patron lists disappearing.

Regarding items traveling from one account to another.  I haven't
specifically heard of this but it sounds like something HIP would do.
