Hello iPac community,
Some years now, since the introduction of the iPac, and in the meantime,
most of the members will have switched to more recent ICT-technology,
which saw the evolution towards miniaturization of the PC only increase
massively during the last years.
I myself, being heavily attracted to the iPac, because of its brightly
elegant architecture, just got hold of the odd specimen, only to
perceive, that I am unable to start it up (by lack of steering program
on the HD).
The absence of an internal floppy-disk did not exactly help to solve
this problem either.
I tried to boot from an installation CDRom, I tried to boot from an USB
stick (with the content of an old fashioned W98 boot floppy), but all in
vain.
In short : How do I start up this intriguing refusenik.
Technics : Compaq iPac PIII 1000Mhz / 41GB HD
If this community has not gone habernatic throughout the past years, I
would like to get some reaction from you, on my problem.
Greetings,
Ahrend
P.S. I have to say, that up to now, I have not been able to locate any
info about the iPac, on the HP / Compac site on the Ipac, but that just
might be co-incidental.
