Hi Veronica,
Our HIP has four limit boxes and you can make multiple selections in any or all of the limit boxes. The patrons and staff quite like this feature. I set this up when we were on HIP 3.04 and we are now on 3.08 (and Horizon 7.3.4, if that matters). So, it sounds like something is going wrong in your HIP somewhere. Let me know if you'd like any of our config screens for comparison.

Subject: [ipac] Limits in HIP
I had a patron ask about using multiple limits for a single search in
HIP. What he was doing was putting in a General Keyword search and
then selecting two locations in the limit box. The results were
null. However, if he put in a General Keyword search and choose just
ONE location in the limit box, then the search executes. So here's
the question...is HIP designed to only allow ONE limit to be executed
at a time or is our HIP not working properly?
