[ipac] Farewell

My friends, it is time for me to say farewell. We are about a month to
go-live with Polaris and all of my energies are wrapped up in that process.

I have been a member of CODI/HUG/CODI for about 20 years. In that time I've
met scores of wonderful people both within the user family and the company.
I cherish those friendships and while I won't be with you at the user
conferences I hope I will still see some of you at ALA and other
conferences. 

I've had the privilege of serving you as CODI President, not once but twice.
What an honor. I hope you will continue to show the current and future CODI
officers the same support you showed me. They truly work hard for the
membership.

I wish you and your libraries well. I wish you good luck as you look around
for the software to migrate to from Horizon. I may be leaving the Dynix
family but I'll still be around. If I can be of assistance to any of you, my
friends, please don't hesitate to email or call me. 

It's a very good thing email is a written medium as I know I could not have
spoken this.
