[ipac] New web site sucks

This is a posting I made to the Horizon list a few minutes ago. It may help
as I seem to have cracked it for myself anyway. Please read Bill's email
below mine first. Lucille
Ha! Bill, your email put me on to something. I had a four digit customer
no. as well and could not get to where I needed to be. If that "username"
was frozen as an account, I logged in as that user anyway and went to the
"manage user" area. There I took a personal account that I had create for
myself but never used and made it a "fellow administrator". Then I logged
out and logged back in as myself. Now I can see the "Support portal".
When I clicked on it, it asked me to login again. I guess it didn't like
the password I had given myself. After I finally got in, I was able to see
everything in the system as shown in the Guide. It looks straight forward,
but you can't find anything with the old resolution nos. as far as I can
see. Cases that are still open appear to have been given new log nos.
What should be changed? When I opened an existing case of ours, there was
no place telling us who was the assigned person. That would be helpful.
I hope these comments help someone else.

I can't change the email for the systems administrator. It says my username
is too short (our customer number), so changes are frozen on the main
profile.

I don't know about the rest of this group, but I think that the forced
change to the new web site for client care really sucks. I have yet to
figure out how to open a LogExpress case from it, and I do not have time to
just look around for something that used to take only seconds.
So now I am calling in for support regardless of the issue. I bet that
makes things easier!
And to think that I was just starting to like some of the things I was
seeing and hearing from SD lately....
