[ipac] Authenticating to Information Portal from another web site

Woah, I didn't even know there was such a section of the guide! I want 
to do this too. Thanks for providing the page number.

So I haven't done this yet, but I definitely plan to try. There doesn't 
seem to be quite enough information there for me to figure out how to 
use it either though. If it could be made to work, it definitely seems 
more elegant then the crazy hacks I thought I'd have to try (and which I 
thought Dave Pattern told me he was going to try too---Dave, I'm 
interested if you knew about this weird "reverse proxy" solution 
supported by HIP apparently, and dismissed it for some reason?)
