[ipac] Cool new way to add patron reviews to HIP

Colleen,

two questions:

1) could you send a screen scrape of the edit screen where the reviews are entered, i.e., is this in the patron "my account section" or, where? 

and 2), what are the sources from which the fiction/bio and first chapter excerpts are derived?  Presumably these are commecial sites, but can you verify?

  Marilyn Borgendale from GMILCS and I have just gone live with (what we think) is a really cool new product.  Chilifresh!  It allows patrons (or staff) to enter reviews on books, movies and more that display directly into HIP.  You can see an example at :

  All reviews are moderated by our staff (it doesn't take much time at all!), though you can choose not to moderate them.  Also reviews can come from other member libraries (or not) and the darn thing is consortia friendly!  The pricing is incredibly reasonable (and the pricing structure is listed on the website!) and it doesn't slow down HIP.  Alpha-G wrote the code that integrates it with HIP and it was a snap to implement.

  Finally, if/when you do migrate to another system the service can migrate with you (another very nice feature).  So please do take a look and let us know what you think.
