Hi Jonathan,
In the HIP Admin tool click Setup > Libraries > External Links > click
the delete link beside Amazon and Barnes and Noble > click Done > click
Setup and Restart JBoss
and/or ...
In the HIP Admin tool click Customize tab > Interface sub-tab >
Variables > copy Information Portal Preferences Variable File > change
the name in the Description box to Information Portal Preferences Custom
> click OK > click Information Portal Preferences Custom Variable File >
click Full Bib under Variables Pages > click Display Amazon and Barnes
Noble > select the false radio button > click OK > click Done > click
Customize tab and Restart JBoss.
To add Variable File to profile: click Setup tab > Libraries sub-tab >
Profiles > Edit Profile > Variable Files > select Information Portal
Preferences Custom Variable File for Preferences File > click OK > click
Setup tab and Restart JBoss.
Hope this helps :-)

Subject: [ipac] amazon and barnes and noble?
In my "test" instnace of HIP, at some point in the past someone enabled
it to show links to Amazon and Barnes & Noble if an ISBN is present.
I _think_ that this was actually a supported HIP feature, rather than
hacked into the XSLT by us?
But I'm not sure. But mainly I'm trying to figure out how to turn it
off! Anyone know if this is in fact a HIP feature, and if so, how to
turn it off?
Jonathan
