USF/SLIS graduates and anyone interested in becoming involved with the USF
Library Alumni Society are invited to attend a social at the Jimmie B. Keel
Regional Library, 2902 W. Bearrs Ave. on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be available for your enjoyment.

The purpose of this social is to plan a USF/SLIS event for the fall. We
would like to hold quarterly meetings and elect new officers. There are NO
DUES to be active in the USF Library Alumni Society.  You do not have to be
a USF graduate to participate.

The USF Library Alumni Society participates in the Alice G. Smith Lecture
series, Jean Key Gates Distinguished Alumni Award, accreditation panels,
focus groups, FLA and ALA gatherings, and whatever else the SLIS requests
help with.  It is a great way to keep in touch with the library community
here and in neighboring counties.

Dr. Mel Pace, USF/SLIS Associate Director will be our guest for the evening.
