Program: Our speaker will be Gary Mormino. Dr. Mormino is a professor at
University of South Florida in the Department of History and co-director
of the Florida Studies Program at USF St. Petersburg. He has written
extensively about Florida history, and is the author of Land of Sunshine,
State of Dreams: A Social History of Modern Florida, and The Immigrant
World of Ybor City: Italians and Their Latin Neighbors in Tampa,
1885-1985.
