LIBRARIAN I
CLEARWATER PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM
SALARY (SB-2) $17.26 Per Hour

POSITION: Entry-level professional and technical library work of  
ordinary difficulty and responsibility.  This position is for a  
temporary reference librarian.  The reference librarian provides  
assistance to the public both in person and over the phone to answer  
questions, identify and locate library materials, assist with use of  
computers and internet and process materials for public use. This  
position is located at the Main Library of the Clearwater Library  
system.  Ability to work in team environment and good oral and written  
communication skills. Computer fluency essential.  An employee within  
this classification works under the general direction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an American Library  
Association accredited library school with a Master's Degree in  
Library Science or a Bachelor's Degree in any field and two (2) years  
of professional level experience in public or college library work.  
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

EVALUATION PROCEDURE: Candidates will initially be evaluated based on  
a combination of their education, training and experience.  Resumes
