[sis-l] SIS meeting - Technology Petting Zoo, Tues, October 13, 2009

Be sure to check out the upcoming SIS meeting next Tuesday, Oct 13. We will
have a "technology petting zoo" where you can see, share, learn, praise or
gripe, and become more familar with a variety of electronic devices we, our
families, and customers are using. If  you have a new high-tech or old
low-tech device that you like or hate, bring it along for show-and-tell.
Deadline to RSVP for the meal is tomorrow, Friday Oct 9, There will be be
space for late comers who do not want a meal.  As always, guests are welcome
to participate.

  *Program:*

 Technology Petting Zoo. *Check out some of the high and low tech gadgets
that our group is using - what's new, what works, what doesn't - such as
iPhones and other smart phones, MP3 players, digital cameras, speakers,
camcorders, ebooks, bluetooth devices, thumb drives, and other devices.
Share your own toys and learn about others*.

Elections for the upcoming year, 2010, will be held at this meeting.

 Stetson University College of Law Library
Gulfport 1401 61st Street
South Gulfport, Florida 33707-3299, 727-562-7800

  *Time:*

 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

  *Food:*

 Boxed meals, at $10.00 per person. The meal includes meat or vegetarian
sandwich, with potato chips, cookie, fruit cup and drinks. Cost is $10.00
per person. The meal is optional; however if you RSVP to eat, please
consider it an obligation to pay even if you cannot make the meeting.

 Please send RSVP's to Christa Fowler, lcfowle2 at sar.usf.edu, no later than
Friday, October 9, 2009. Please indicate whether or not you will be eating.
Late reservations will be accepted only as space allows.
