That is, they created a separate record for individual titles within the set. A library that only has a couple of the volumes of the set may choose to use only the analytic record for those volumes they own; however, I agree that the information about the set should be in a Series note as shown below (record from USF WebLUIS): > Author, etc.: > James, Henry, 1843-1916. > Title: > The wings of the dove. > Published: > New York, Scribner [c1937] > Description: > 2 v. 22cm. > Series note: > The novels and tales of Henry James.
