various TBLC lists.

FLA Annual Conference 2000

Will you be an FLA Day Tripper?
Are you a staffer at a TBLC member library?
Visit the TBLC Hospitality Suite Wednesday and Thursday from 5 pm – 7
pm.

This year’s FLA meeting promises to be both intellectually and socially
the library event of the season.  The local arrangements committee has
worked tirelessly to provide special treats that conference goers will
remember.

On Tuesday evening people who are pre-registered can pick up their
badges and enjoy Dark, Chocolate, and Art at the Tampa Museum of Art.

Don’t miss out on this year’s fun because you are a day-tripper.  Relax
from 5:00 – 7:00 on Wednesday and Thursday in the TBLC Members
Hospitality Suite at the Marriott Waterside.  Freshen up, network with
friends then join the fun in Tampa.

After a busy day on Wednesday attending the Opening Session, visiting
the exhibits and attending conference sessions plan to take a break in
the Hospitality Suite.  Then off to Living “La Vida Loca” in Ybor City
enjoy dinner, music and activities while you raise funds for the FLA
Scholarship Fund.  Your $20 ticket will benefit the fund.

The Presidents Reception on Thursday evening starts at 7:00 at the
Florida Aquarium.  Between your busy day at the conference and this
event, join your TBLC colleagues while you sit a bit in the Hospitality
Suite.

Transportation both evenings will leave from the hotel.  If you decide
to bring your car and head directly for home after you have enjoyed the
parties, you can find ample parking in Ybor City and near the Aquarium.

Stop by the MLC/E-Mail booth on Wednesday or Thursday for a TBLC
identifier and to learn the location of the Hospitality Suite.  Send a
message now to rsvp@tblc.org.   If you tell us you plan to stop by we
will e-mail the room number to you.
