Subject: [web_developers] Adding forms to your Snoopy website

I've created a script that will let you mail the results of a web form to
any address you choose.  Here's how to use it.


Your form should start with the following line:

<form method="post" action="http://www.tblc.org/php-common/form.php3">

Include the following line in your form:

<input type="hidden" name="mailto" value="your@email.address.here">

If you want to see more detail about the submission, include these five
lines at the top of your form, just below the <form> tag:

    echo "<input type=hidden name=referer value=\"$HTTP_REFERER\">\n";
    echo "<input type=hidden name=useragent value=\"$HTTP_USER_AGENT\">\n";
    echo "<input type=hidden name=ip value=\"$REMOTE_ADDR\">\n";

By default, the form will show the user what has been submitted.  If you
want to display a different message, put it in a hidden input called
"result":

<input type="hidden" name="result" value="Thanks for submitting a form!">
