Consumer Health Information

What do you tell your patrons when they ask for information on diabetes
or Alzheimer's? Or if they want to know how one drug interacts with
their other medications?

This class will give you a solid understanding of where to find good,
reliable, consumer-friendly health information on the Web. Class will
consist of a demonstration of different Internet sites with valuable
medical information. It will also include time for questions and
individual computer searching for topics of interest to your specific
patrons.

The instructor, Karen Roth, is the medical librarian for Morton Plant
Mease Health Care in Clearwater.
